I applied to a secret shopper job. I received an email from Kirk that if I was interested in the secret shopper job to email back. I received another email a week later that I will receive a postal package with the information and a check which I will get paid $400 for doing the job. I received the postal envelope today two days after the last email. I received the breakdown letter that says to cash check and purchase 3 $500 American express gift cards or $100 and $200 worth of $1500 American express gift cards. Then I can keep my $400 out of the $1920.30 that included for getting the gift cards. All I'll have to do is once I get the cards to scratch them and send a picture of it in an email then keep them for my next job and send the survey with it. Except when I went to the check cashing place they said the check was not a legit one and they will need to keep the check and for me to report them. So i walk away with nothing and lost nothing. I've tried calling but no one picks up..I sad only because I had my 6 year old on the job with me and she was suppose to get paid $7 out of my 400 for doing a good job. As well I am not working so it would of been nice.
