Bought a dress size 8 online, with having 14 daya return window in case I didn't like the dress. The material was too thick and I feel uncomfortable in the dress, emailed for a return label. Promlily claim that the dresses are tailored to customer’s fit, but I haven't been asked for any measurements to fit my figure. Instead, there was only a size guide meaning that anyone purchasing size 8 will get the same dress. They claim that they can offer me 85% of the cost of the dress because they wouldn't be able to sell it further and I'd have to pay for a return postage; however, I want 100% for my return and get rid of the dress I don't like. I am not happy with paying £100 for a dress I don't like and won't wear. Shocking customer service, still awaiting for a full refund and a return label. Please please please avoid this shop! All online shops offer returns without making this a problem. I am not surprised they won't be able to sell this dress on, as they don't have many customer with the reviews they are having!

Didn’t think to google this website before ordering and to say it’s a joke is an understatement ! Dresses took ages, weren’t sewed well, they won’t give a full refund , you have to pay tracked postage to China … the list goes on and on and on! Don’t use them! Dress wasn’t even the right colour !

Stay away from buying IT IS A SCAM
Bought a dress for daughters prom nothing like the picture so they look on designer sites and put up there pics and copy the dress not successful at all
I asked for refund got offered 15% no thanks I want full refund I paid quite a bit for the dress so now taking legal action against this place

Carefree shopping is a joke! Will not send a return code, will not take unworn dress back that doesn't fit! Unbelievable rip-off!

I bought a prom dress. Promlily said it was an easy return. 1. Submit a return request at Contact Us to Customer Service within 14 days upon receiving your order. Please include an explanation and photographs stating the reason for your return. However, there is no return address. I emailed them and this is the reply:

We can provide you with a special coupon for you to reorder. This coupon equals the 70% price as your item price.

You can use it to reorder or buy anything else on the site. But the coupon code could be used only once. Is this acceptable?

By the way, you can keep the item, you do not need to pay a high shipping fee to return it.

WHY Would I want to order anything else from you when you have such poor horrible customer service?

NEVER AGAIN! All I want is to return this dress and get my money back. If you going to advertise easy returns you need to honor that ad. I ask for a phone number, and you can't even do that. SCAM! YOU ARE REPORTED! I didn't receive any phone number for Promlily.

I haven't heard anything from them since. I am pretty positive I have been scammed, lost my money, and I have a dress that is I can't use. Hopefully by reporting this they can be stopped and not take advantage of other people. Thank you so much.

Awful experience and they took my money. Site is online only. They took my purchase and within the 14 day limit I asked for a full return refund due to dress not fitting. Dress was not custom. Promlily states they will refund with a return label on website...they just gave me a very hard time. Would not refund. The emails continued for several weeks. Promlily made dollar amount refund offers not near what I spent nor even half of what I paid. So I got screwed. Please shut them down...they more than likely have several online stores and they are all thieves.

Total scam do not buy from them! Dresses take forever to arrive from China and the quality is terrible. I was told I could return the dress but then got the total run around. They are in the business of robbing people of their hard earned money by not allowing returns. They charge $100+ for dresses that likely cost them $10 to be made in China. They are ripping people off by not allowing returns. They offered 8% refund of a $140 dress and said I can’t return it because it costs too much to ship to China. They basically stole $140 from me.

Dress is definitely not as nice when it comes in. Cut looks completely different and doesn’t fit even though measured according to their site. Gave me the run around and in the end only offered me an 8% refund and told me to get it altered at my local place. I didn't order a dress that should have needed to be altered. Basically their refund policy is a joke and their shipping is off, paid extra for express and took longer to arrive. OUT $120. Live and learn, will tell everyone to never order from here.

Promlily will not return your money. The wedding dress I ordered was beautiful. The material, I was impressed but it doesn’t fit. Well! They asked for pictures then they asked for my measurements. I refused the measurements stating regardless of the measurement, the dress doesn’t fit! They told me to get it altered! What! They don’t take the merchandise back! DO NOT BUY FROM PROMLILY! $140 lost. The dress works and is gorgeous…. Doesn’t fit! Scammers and will not refund.

Paid for expedited shipping that arrived 2-weeks later than stated date. Tried to return but was told a LIE... the dress was special fit (NO). I should try and sell it locally online because I would have to pay for shipping and a 30% restock fee.
Basically you are buying whatever they want to send you whenever they decide to get it to you and you can never return it. A horrible experience and company!

I ordered a dress online in the size that should fit me but it is too tight through the ribs. Under the return section it said it could be returned within 14days. Now they are saying it can’t be returned and if it is they will deduct 30% for restocking fee. I have emailed several times and can’t reach a solution. I am done negotiating with them. I have never dealt with such terrible customer service.

Same thing happened to me! 30% restocking fee for 2 dresses that arrived too late. I'm still out over $300.

2)Please make sure they are in their original conditions - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, free of lint and hair and with tags intact and attached.

The dresses came horribly wrinkled, poorly made and one had these weird straps on what was supposed to be a strapless bodice. After several emails, they finally responded to ask for photos. After they looked at the photos, they said the dresses look fine and because the dresses are "made-to-order", I could only receive 20% of my money back. All the reviews are fake. HUGE SCAM.

Exactly! Total scam

I bought a dress that looked nothing like the picture and the material was so cheap I never even put it on asked for a refund and they said it was only a slight difference from the picture as if you should sell something different from the image and only offered me 10% back. I reported it to my bank DON'T SHOP HERE TOTAL SCAM!

Bought 2 dresses spending about $325, neither dress fit or was the color it was suppose to be. Their customer service is a joke, told us to get it altered yet it didn’t fit by a substantial amount. The return policy says returns in the first 14 days yet you have to justify your reasoning for the return or they won’t give it. I was offered a 10% refund for dresses not fitting and not the right color. We ended up buying locally for a bit more money but a lot less aggravation. Keep shopping! Do not purchase from this site!

I ordered my prom dress March 22, 2022 and it mentioned that the estimated date of delivery would be April 8, 2022. They also claim they would send an email once the order gets dispatched. I did not get one email expect for the order number. I have to keep checking that one email they provided. My prom is May 20 and if I keep waiting for this dress, I won’t be able to attend prom. Therefore, I will be looking for another dress and will report them to my bank and get my money back. DO NOT SHOP AT PROMLILY!

I am in the same situation as you except we found my daughter a replacement dress last week. Ordered our dress on March 28th and was told sometime in April that they couldn't meet the time frame because of a material shortage. But was then told that she'd get it by May 1st. Nope nothing yet! BTW I have saved ALL the emails from them.

This company has affordable dresses online that are typically shown with stock photos and some reviews. However I am convinced the reviews are fake because none of the products are as shown or described. The company scams on people who cannot afford a more expensive wedding or prom dress and uses this as leverage to refuse to refund customers their money regardless of the condition of the item. I received my item and the same day I asked to return it as it was a completely different dress and size. They asked for photos of the dress, I complied but then they continued to ask what my exact meassurements are because they think the item looks fine to them. Even after providing them with multiple emails of evidence they refuse to refund me the money and I will be reporting them to my bank. The return policy on the website is a lie and is solely meant to get people who are leary of online dress shopping to buy a dress online because they think they may be able to return it. Please do not buy from these people.

I ordered a homecoming dress. When checking out it stated standard shipping 2-5 days. I did not order a custom size. I have not received confirmation, tracking number or email from them. I chatted online today they said I could not get a full refund even though the item has not shipped. They told me to contact their lawyers. They have already taken my payment thru paypal which I will dispute. They told me the item would not ship for atleast 15 days. I told them I had to have it next week is why I ordered. Again they told me to contact their lawyers. Scam website.

I order my prom dress 3 weeks ago an paid for early shipping from PROMLILY.COM website. I never got a dress nor my money back. I didn't get to attend my senior prom due to them scamming me. They ruined a special day I can't never get back. This company never sent me anything. Please help me get a full refund back. Please stop them from ruining others ladies prom day.
