This company mailed a bill for a $99 to obtain a deed to a property they claimed we owned. It looks like its a service that prints out a deed which you can obtain from your county. However, we do not own the property in question.

Iwas trying to find information about a vacant lot next to me.The cost for the information was quoted as one dollar.Idid not recieve the information but checking my account later I found not only did they take the the dollar but 23 dollars as well. while looking at my account today they had taken another dollar . Am not sure but I read they will be taking out 23 dollars monthly for 2 years that i did not authorize.And have no recieved information I was looking to find out.

My brother and I recently inherited our dad’s house through a trust. A couple of weeks later, I received a letter from this company offering me a property report for $99. The deed and related paperwork had been prepared by our family lawyer, so this was a surprise. After my initial panic, I reread the letter several times. It’s not affiliated with any government agencies and they don’t offer a deed. The kicker was, it was for the wrong property-the one I own with my husband. I decided to file my own account so others won’t be deceived.

Company Sending form to pay $99 to get your home deed. Targets new home owners. A homeowner can get deed at county for a few dollars. They are misleading by saying it is an official goverment documents. Older folks could fall victim.

Just bought a condo and I began receiving mail with an invoice requesting that I pay 94 dollars for a copy of my title and other land records. The way the invoice is laid out it looks official and required, has all my personal information on it about my home and implies that there is a deadline. IN LARGE LETTERS. And includes a self addressed envelope. I have received five letters since I closed August 1 - 2019.
