Applied for a house that was listed for rent with the intention to move into the property in January. Contacted Abrams realty with the property we were interested in, in which no conversation was had to what the latest date we could move in was, was directed to apply online and submit the application at the cost of $50.00 with a $25.00 administrative fee. On the application I listed our move in date to be January 6th 2025. I paid and submitted my application to at which it was reviewed since I had to list a supervisor and current leasing office, to which Abrams contacted both as the personal that were listed as references reached out to me to validate my information. Which at any point they could have crossed reference my move in date with the latest date they could facilitate but never did. Instead since my spouse is required to submit an application as well due to her being over the age of 18 made her submit an application at the cost of another $50.00, and almost instantly we both received a text message stating at our move in date could not be accepted since the latest they could allow a move in was the 18 of November 2024, 13 days after the submission of the application. At no point was the date disclosed to myself or my spouse about the date, it wasn't listed online or on the phone call I had with there office. A clear rug pull why have consumers pay for an application, review it, see what the move in date will is knowing they could not meet that date and still require both persons to submit and application. A very fraudulent business practice.

The guy said his name was Eric and he was the owner of the property. He said everything was refundable if I didn’t get approved yet I got approved. He never talk or answered his phone after I send the money through chime.

I had contacted the individual to rent a property from them. After payment she had stated that to get the property I would have to pay an extra months rent because there was another applicant who gave two months rent. I had requested my money back and given a timeframe in which I would receive my money. The money never came and after asking where is my money the timeframe kept getting extended.
