We was waiting for documents to come in the mail from our attorney. However, document from Property Site came. We thought it was the document we were expecting. We wasn't sure about it but wanted to get things settled. So, we sent payment of $95.00. I needed to get copy of my deed for a home improvement. I realized I had received this letter and sent payment regarding property information and deed.

I contacted my county clerk's office and I could a copy from then if I needed it. Also, it didn't cost that much get a copy of our deed.

I tried calling Property Site several times @ 1-888-507-1523 and realized this is scam. The recording sound legitimate, but after 10-15 they answer and hang up.

Companies like Property Site should not be allowed to exist and get individuals information regarding their property, so easy.

I received an unsolicited document from this business that seems to have been designed to intentionally look like an invoice, in order to scam people into paying. After little research, I found this business does this as a regular practice.

Fake invoice for recorded home deed notice

The company is completely misleading and fraudulent in its offering. Right after purchasing our new house, this company sent us a letter looking like an official state or city document saying we needed to pay them via check $95 to procure a copy of our home record and deed. After 2 months they mailed me a sparse booklet of outdated information that I could find right from the internet. Completely a scam and fraudulent - the company should be shutdown and quickly as I am sure many people are falling for this trap.

We recieved a legitamte looking letter from Property Site stating we could pay $95 for our Grant Deed to the home we just bought. We didn't know the company and usually these things would come from our title company. The letter looks very real, which is why I had to double check online to see if this was a legitimate company. All the things they are claiming to give you, you can get from our local county office.

Received this after recently moving my home into my trust - don't pay this - total scan

Sent a notice that implied it was from the government requiring me to purchase a Property Assessment Profile on a recently purchased investment property. (Only on the back did they say they weren't the government.) They want to charge $95 for something you can get for a few bucks directly from the township and which you don't need but they fearmonger you into thinking you do.

After purchasing a new home I received, at first glance, a very official looking letter that indicated I needed to pay a 95 dollar fe to receive my Property Assessment Profile and complimentary Grant Deed or other record of title. First glance it seems legitimate. But once you really start to read it, you realize the company is not local, not acting on behalf of the county you purchased the home in, has a very sketchy payment/order website and is all around only giving you information that is both free and public record. Beware.

They sent out a letter via postal mail that can look official at first glance. Asking for about $95 for a copy of the deed to your house. If you read the fine prints, it'll say that it's a solicitation and not official government business or something to that effect. I hate it because they usually target new, inexperienced homeowners and the vulnerable elderly population. If you've purchased a new property, you're likely to get more junk mail like these. They're all scams.

I had recently finished my estate planning with trust through an attorney. Included in the trust is my grant deed. I received the attached notice from the Property Site company. I believe this is a scam. They send a bill for $95.00. for copies I already have. If someone does not check their paperwork from their attorney they could fall for this. My attorney gets inundated with calls from clients regarding this bill for the paperwork they thought their attorney had billed them for. I called the company to check out how old the company is and for more information to report to the BBB, but have been on hold for 15 minutes.

trying to scam money out of new home owners by charging $95 dollars for copies of public records of sale/deed

This is a "recorded deed notice" letter scam that urges new home owners to buy a "Property Assessment Profile" for a fee of $95 when these documents are readily available via local government offices. This scam is exactly the same as others that have already been reported, such as these:

Received this scam labeled with our recent living trust name. Only received it for one property, and wasn't from local County Office. Those were 2 red flags. Asked for $95 filing fee. I hopped online and saw at the bottom of my letter, it also included what others' shared here about it being a solicitation, etc.

We received a postal mailing that looked official, saying that we must respond by a specific date, and pay a service fee of $95.00 to receive a Property Assessment Profile. They had our information of a recording date for a deed that we had filed and they listed our legal property address and our names. We searched the internet for whether this was a scam and found this to be a very common real estate scam. You must read the lengthy two-page document, to see the statement that this is not a governmental agency. It is also stated in the fine print near the bottom of the second page: "This is not a bill. This is a solicitation. You are under no legal obligation to pay the amount stated, unless you accept this offer."

The mailing looks like a government document and is confusing, clearly written to scam some money from people who have filed their deed.

I closed on a condo 9-1-20 and was warned at closing by my attorney to be aware of this scam with a sample letter of past scams. On 10-12-20 I received a letter seeking $95.00 for a "Personal Assessment Profile which includes a complimentary copy of the current Grant Deed or record of title." It said it was for a "RECORDED DEED NOTICE." However, I had already received the real, actual deed from my attorney 3 days ago so I knew this letter was a scam.

Their return address on the envelope was **** ** ***** *** ***** *** ******* ** **********

- Palm Coast, FL, USA

Received a letter in the mail after purchasing a house in Palm Coast Florida. Large bold lettering states "RECORDED DEED NOTICE" they have a service fee of $95. They say they will send you a certified copy of the deed to your house plus some research about the property for $95. If you call the county clerks office where you live for a fee of less than $5 they will send you a certified deed to your property. This would save you $90 from this scam.

Apparently this scam is not new, but it looks like they have changed their name and location from Glendora to Fresno, CA.

We received an official/threatening looking envelope/letter of notice stating we had to pay the $95.00 DEED RECORDING FEE by 8/28/2020. My fiancé almost paid it, but since I was there at closing I knew we had already paid the fee! We called to confirm and they advised it is a scam. We looked it up online...it’s a scam!!! Happening now in TX. Their # 1-888-507-1523
