A member from the Tenacity team reached out to my friend via instagram offering her a job selling life insurance and indexed accounts. They say they're an umbrella company for TransAmerica. Her goal is to gain clients by having them help her with training. She reached out to me, not knowing she was being scammed as well, and I went through the training process with her and her advisor and I purchased life insurance. So they say. We did everything via zoom. They have my name, address, phone number, drivers license number, bank account information, and social security number. I needed to have this information typed in for the life insurance I thought I bought. I was never emailed a policy number for the two accounts I purchased. I tried going back to the webpages, but they are now unavailable. I can't see the documents I signed and both accounts have the same contact email. The American-Amicable account let me log in one time and then it told me my password was incorrect which is the last 4 digits of my ssn. The company does not have a webpage or anything that legitimizes the business. They offered me a job as well after they submitted my insurance application. I had to pay $125 for a background check to the World financial group (WFG). There are additional fees they told me I need to pay before working for them so I can become a licensed financial advisor. They send videos you have to watch before orientation, basically teaching people to follow their script and to draw more people into their scheme. They want you to submit a top 25 list of people you can use for character reference.
