Prumental Insurance Reports & Reviews (3)

I got an email from a company called Prumental insurance, and usually I get alot of random emails about weird jobs that look like scams but this one for some reason didn't feel like that so I went along with them and gave them my information and they had me working for a month receiving packages and shipping them out, and as soon as the first month ended, they were gone, no contact at all. I don't know what's going to happen to my personal information, never had this happen before.

They reached out to me saying they found my resume on a website. Said they were hiring for in home insurance fraud agents. I was to have packages sent to my home and log them and email back the lady the info about the package. Then they would send the shipping labels.

I am currently seeking a new employment opportunity. With that comes 100s of frustrating emails from the main job search sites/apps that are obviously invalid and more pesky to delete all of the time than anything. I have received a couple of recruiter emails plus phone calls that were quickly realized as legit. It is extremely frustrating to think that you may pass up an actual opportunity because of how many scam-type emails you start to receive. About 98% of the emails are easy to distinguish between legit or spam/scam. The other 2% take some heavy research and thought. The last one was from Prumental Insurance, LLC. They were offering a max salary of around $47,000 which is about the type of job I am looking for at the moment. It was a personalized email which made it seem more real and a bit more like a recruiter email vs. spam email. After reading it a few times and taking a couple of days to think it through and get some advice from family members, I decided it was worth emailing this lady, Patrice Gibson, back and inquiring more information about the company/job and application process. They did not ask for money up front, again a check under the legit side. The original email was formatted to look just like your regular local job ads (looked extremely real and not over-promising). I then had a new lady, Deanne Sheward respond to my additional inquiry. She stated that my contact information had been shared with her from an HR manager regarding this position and that going forward I would be able to correspond with her. She provided a link to learn more about the company, and this link would take me to the application process. Everything was spelled correctly, and communication seemed fairly professional. Their signatures at the end of the emails maybe could have caused me to have more concern. I was definitely treading cautiously, but they signed with their names, and company location/address, but no phone numbers which are typically included in an employee's email signature. So I clicked on the link to look into the company more, and the website seemed about 85% legit. Looking at it knowing what I know now, it is definitely lacking in data and could have more details/information included. They have a Home page that explains the types of insurances they provide along with the fact that they have been around for more than 15 years. You can click on each insurance type that they provide for more details. There is an About Us page which has a lot of details on it. After doing this, I started researching deeper, I decided to copy and paste one of their paragraphs about their "leaders" and it was copied word for word from Prudential Insurance's website. Prumental is not a legit company/website and I had to report it because as a cautious person and someone that researches everything I possibly can, this one almost had me fooled! I did a WHOIS domain search and the information does not add up. I also tried calling their contact number with no luck more than 10 times. I looked them up on social media, no record of them, nor any record on BBB. This is a scam, and I am glad I avoided whatever it was they were trying to get from me. But it was a tougher one to notice. I did email them back before writing this asking for more detailed information on their company because I cannot find any documentation or proof that they exist.
