Bought a puppy from Pryor Kingdom Puppies for $450.00 + $150.00 S&H. Advised was to have home addresses delivery. America Pets [email protected] (American Pet Transport Agency) contacted us with an urgent matter via e-mail. They provided a tracking # and a wild life registration # for out Malamute. A request for $1375 was made from them to have a vet travel with the dog via air plane to our nearest airport and deliver to out home address. All funds were fully refundable - this was pet insurance to insure a safe travel for the puppy. Payment was sent via WU. They advised that we had to cancel that purchase because they were being charged a fee to pick up the money at WU and asked if we would send it via cash instead. We did this - against my better judgement. Was told the Malamute puppy would board the next plane at 11:50 am. and provided a tracking number with an plane time itinerary. The next day, we were sent another urgent email that the Malamute puppy was in distress from the plane ride and was being held - In accordance with the Chicago Midway International Airport Pet Control Dept, they had to request an electronic air conditional temperature crate; anti-pressure and anesthesia vaccines to secure the puppies health at $505.00 for crate and $203.00 for vaccinations. We explained that we could not come up with that amount but we were trying. We never heard from either place again and they will not respond to refund requests.
