The call was to collect past due electric bill. I normally don't Handel that so I said I would get back to them , and he gave me his name ,#, and ext . They are the following 888-800-1742 ext112 David Hayes

I did call back after checking with my wife, because we were up to date on our bill. We got thru questioned where he was from , and then he asked us for account #, we asked again where he was from and then he hung up! Tried again now phone is busy

Male caller had contacted my husband via his cell phone in early April 2023. My husband saw on his Caller ID that it was PSE&G (he has their number in his contacts). Male caller had an accent (sounded like it was from the Caribbean). Background noise sounded like being in a call center. Explained he had a work order to shut off our service due to account arrearage. Asked my husband how the account is paid and when my husband replied that he should already have this information, the male caller hung up. We contacted PSE&G customer service by phone and via email.
