Receive call stating they were from Publishers Clearinghouse and was one of their selected winners. Was told to call Jamie Chin 903-337-1667 ext 25 with a verification number. When I called that person they told me I won a Mercedes and $950,000 and if I was home to receive it someone from the IRS, police officer and someone from a federal agency would come and deliver it. I was told I would have to pay $1500 and asked if I had access to those funds and I told them no. I told them I would pay it on the winnings. I was told I would at least need $500 upfront to pay for a "Federal Stamp". I told them I had no access to $500 then they asked if I could come up with a couple hundred and I said no. Then they asked if I could borrow it and I told him no as well. Then he said he would look into other options and to call him back in 30 minutes. He said it was not a scam and was a deacon in his church. In the meantime I called BBB.
