that PCH shows up at your door unannounced... there is no fee! She also asked me if I had entered the PCH sweepstakes contest in the first place. I said, we'll yeah... back in 2004! lol Point is... she helped me begin to see that it may be a scam, though I still didn't want to believe it. Then she went online and quickly found this website and read about 4 of the other victim reports to me... sadly, I realized it was a scam). Unfortunately however, I did provide my cell phone number to the scammer (the scammer had called me on my home phone line originally) because he would need to visit with me on the phone after the $500 I would send from Walmart to verify it had been done so that he could notify the prize patrol of the fee payment at which time they'd be enroute to my home with my prize money. Oh... my prize money and my brand new 2024 BMW, or whatever vehicle type it was, that I'd also won! Sad thing is, if my friend wouldn't have been at my home as I had finished up the call, I likely would have made the 65 mile trip to my nearest Walmart to send the scammer $500. This is a bitter sweet scam report. Hope it helps someone else, and I hope they catch those $!#@ers some day!!!
