They've called several times, but today John Walker called. He had an accent. His number is 920-777-3423. He said I had won 3rd place in the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes. He said I won $5 million, $7000 a month for life and a 2020 Mercedes Benz. He asked if I was married, and who my beneficiary was. He asked what I would do with the money. I replied retire, then he said "that would be enough to do it". He asked if I would be home today as he wanted to schedule a delivery for 3pm today. He asked me if Walmart or CVS was closer. I said Walmart. He said he would stay on the phone with me while I drove there because I needed to buy a MyOne Card for $299 to register for the prize. He said he would meet me there. He keeps calling me "Buddy", like I'm his friend.

I received a letter and a check from Publishers Clearing House saying I had been selected as a lucky winner of the grand prize $600,000.00. The letter reads in part: Contact our branch office immediately at 518-872-3078 to speak with claims agent Kevin Prince for method of payment. IMPORTANT: You are required by the international sweepstakes by law to pay towards taxes, handling and processing fees. Enclosed is your sponsorship check to assist you with out of pocket expenses. It is company policy to keep this letter and your cash prize winnings confidential to avoid double or false claims. Deborah Holland Executive Vice-President Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes". The check was for $6998.55 written against Nitro Logistics Inc in Secaucus, NJ.
