A man by the supposed name of of John Edwards badge number 5150J. E called from PCH stating that I had won 7.5 million dollars. And $25000 every month for the rest of my life from a company called set for life. I also won a 2023 Mercedes Benz. E class, 7 years of free insurance from geico, and a 6 month gas voucher. Mr. Edwards continued to say that all I had to pay was 1% in taxes to the government, which would be $75000.

But to get the car which was already loaded and waiting. I had to go to the Dollar General store and purchase a green dot scratch card with the value of $499. After I purchased this card I just had to scratch it and give him the number and then the car would be sent to me. When I told the scammer that I did not have $499, he told me that they had a sponsorship so that I only had to pay half of the amount. When I told him that I could not do that, he suggested that I go get a loan from the bank. When I told him that this would take too long he hung up on me. Approximately 10 minutes later I received another call from the same number and from the same named scammer. When I told him that he had just called me, he started to curse at me because I would not give him the money. He even told me that this was a hoax and that he just wanted his money.

Told me to take cash from my bank (don’t tell cashier why), go to Walgreens or CVS to buy a green dot money park. PCH will visit me tomorrow. His name is John Foster, badge #7542799PCH. He and Marshall will go to my bank to tell manager about no taxes should be taken out. He’s calling me now to see if I did what he told me to do. I’m not answering. He told me not to tell anyone about this call. Calling me again right now. Not answering. Asked me if I lived alone. House or apt. How old I am. What bank I use, how long. He just left me a voice message which I can’t read while I’m texting you. Obviously a scam, which I knew as I led him on. PCH is telling the winner at the end of Apr. Also PCH doesn’t call on the phone; they write letters to you. And not about winning anything. My cellphone is 502-572-0468 and my landline is 502- 473-8447. I’d like to know what happens to him. I knew it was a scam, others might know that. Thanks.

A man by the name of Michael Mondai (with a foreign accent) called me and said that I had been chosen as the 2nd place winner in the publisher's clearinghouse jackpot. He even gave me a claim number. He then told me that in order for them to release my 2.1 million dollar payment I had to pay $510 for an fdic authorization to prove that i am who i say i am. I asked for the 800 # to publisher's clearinghouse and he stated that once I started dealing with him I couldn't talk to them. I then asked for his supervisor's name and number. He gave me the number 866-248-0959 & the name Patrick Fernandez. When I called the number I got a google voicemail. When i did a reverse lookup on the number it came up as belonging to Gtepetro. None of his info can be verified.....please dont fall for this scam! Thank God my skepticism kicked into high gear before they could take any money from me.

A scammer named Tom Richmond said I won $4.5 million from Publishers Clearing House and needed to send $2,500 for a tax bond by calling Robert Nelson the prize manager at 724-509-4659, the ScamPulse.com said if you win a prize you won't be called by phone but will be notified by mail. I have been called many times with similar proposals and knew they were scams since I knew that if you win a prize you don't have to pay any money in advance to receive a prize. After you receive a prize you know you will have to pay taxes to local, state, and federal governments.

Received call from Publishers Clearing House John Handy from 561-546-8292 and saying that I had to get them a $400 Visa card. Then spoke with his supervisor Jimmy Jackson claiming that I had won 3.5 million dollars and $7,000 for life but I told him I didn't have that kind of money. Then received call from 631-652-7890 Roger Sherman the delivery person verify my address and saying that he needed a $20 gift card from Visa and he will put me on a senior citizen plan. He wanted to deliver the money and the car that I had won.

I was told that I had won the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. I was given a lot of numbers, verification codes, etc. I was told I had won more than 2 million dollars plus $15,000 a week for life. I was to go to my local Walgreens and purchase 2 Vanilla gift cards for $400 each. That I would then be met by two lawyers who would validate my identity and that after the initial $2mil check that $7500 would be added to each Vanilla card. The gentleman was really smooth and convincing. It was tempting to believe him. I checked Vanilla Vard online during the conversation and their cards are Non reloadable!! I could see many of my 86 year old contemporaries falling for it.

Caller stated elderly homeowner won $750,000 in Publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes. Asked for personal information and told homeowner that $750 payment would be needed to claim prize.
