My wife was interested in a Pomeranian. They asked for half payment upfront, so she asked if they took PayPal and they said their PayPal account was full so we did our research and found out the telephone number was from an escort service.

Found the 'same' puppy for my little girl in NY. Same feeling about the cashapp and his answers. Looked for more puppies and found one in Portland, ME...low and behold..same number. I called and texted from a different number and then received the same pictures as the dogs in "NY"..sent him a nice message calling him on his scam.

I was looking to buy a golden retriever puppy for my wife's birthday. I found a puppy available at

I texted the person at +1 916-467-9830. He wanted me to send half of the 700 dollar payment to a cash app account. I asked more questions about him and the dogs and he was giving strange answers. he sent me someone else's payment from his cashap so I looked up the name from his cashap and found a profile from someone outside of new York state. So I googled scams and found a article describing what was going on. I did not pay him or give him any more information. I attached the text thread and the Facebook profile I searched.
