This ad that was on Facebook featured Katie Couric as the owner of the company who helped develop CBD gummies. I ordered the bottles of Gummies. When checking out there are several other things it asks you to buy, yet doesn't have a clear way to decline, it just has you continue. I did not realize that means you are ordering things. It didn't have a summary page that shows what you ordered. I received the gummies and some oil I didn't realize I had ordered. Several days later I noticed another charge on my credit card from a different company. I called to find out what that was and was told it was part of the order for the gummies. It was for an ebook, which I never received. When I called, they said they couldn't refund that but would cancel the subscription. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said there wasn't one available. I began to wonder if the gummies were also a subscription and when I asked, they said I would need to call the other company, that they couldn't help me. In the meantime, I sent an email to the address listed on the confirmation email for the gummies (which only listed the gummies). I called the "other company" and talked with the same representative. I asked to return the gummies and oil and was told they were not accepting returns and could give a 25% refund. When I said that wasn't acceptable and would be contacting the Better Business Bureau, I was told a 50% refund would be issued within 3-5 business days. I was duped by the use of Katie Couric and didn't do my research well enough, had I done that, I would have found out that there isn't a website for the company. It's yet to be seen if I get a refund for any of it.
