They stated they had purebred Maine c o o n kittens for sale. They asked for a down payment, then they’d ship the pet. Once the tracking was provided, the shipping company hours later asks for a payment of insurance, or they won’t have the pet go to the final destination, but the insurance payment will be refunded on delivery of the pet. I got on the chat with the “shipping company” because the phone number listed didn’t work. They said it was under maintenance, but I requested a call since this whole thing seemed scummy. They didn’t like that. They called her, tried to get her to send payment to a personal PayPal that seems to have nothing to do with the company. When the seller was contacted again and told the shipping company wasn’t reputable, they asked if she called it a scam. How would the seller know what the shipping company chat log says if they weren’t working together. The seller pushed for her to use the PayPal info the shipping company provided, that’s just a personal PayPal for someone. She checked the airport arrivals for a pet online and hasn’t seen any info on an arrival for the pet the seller says they shipped.

Contacted the person. He wrote back using text. Put 275.00 down to hold the kitten. Told him my aunt would fly out to Denver to pick it up for us. He said he needed another 135.00 to get the certificate from the vet and a second set of vaccinations so it would be ready for pickup. At one point he did call but he had such a bad accent we couldn’t understand him so he hung up and just used text messaging. He also would only accept pay pal through the friends and family route. When we went to pick up the kitten no one would answer the door. He had told us through text that he would be there all day.

I purchased 2 Maine C o o n kittens from their website and paid $1470 for 2 kittens and shipping. When they claimed to ship, I received an email from the shipper, jblsmartlogistics.com. Everything looked fine on the breeder site but when they were shipped the shipper asked for another $1000 to rent a shipping crate and then after questioning that all contact stopped and calls went unanswered on the
google phone number.

Tried to sell us a Maine [censored] kitten, and told us they would ship it to our door using JBL shipping. After doing some research, we learned the company was a scam and the company didn’t exist. They wanted over 1,000$ for the kitten and shipping.
