I searched online for a maltipoo and came across the website called Purebred Stunning Maltipoo which I realized run another website called Royal Shihtzu Breeders. The website appeared legitimate so I reached out to them by completing the "contact us" form. I then received an email about the puppy named Rex and the price of $700 with a 30-day money back guarantee. I was told that shipping would be handled and that the puppy would come with everything it needs. They only wanted zelle pay to [email protected] or American Express gift card payments. Although that seemed suspicious, I figured the breeders may have gotten scammed before and wanted guaranteed payment. Also, I had been in contact with this business via email for a few days prior and they sent a video and other pics of the puppy. After making the payments they told me the puppy would be shipped that same day but then said there were no more flights leaving so I had to wait until the next day. I then received an email with the tracking number but was told that I had to rent a different crate from the shipping company called express shipping prime who also sent me an email with shipping information. The red flag was when this "shipping company" asked for a refundable $1000 rental fee for the special crate needed. I called the number on the shipping company's site which stated "this person is unable to be reached". I then asked for a phone number which was not given to me. A few minutes later I received a call from 407-633-6768 from a person from the "shipping company" explaining I needed to pay the $1000 upfront and would be refunded upon delivery of the puppy. I stopped by business dealings right there being that I had already spent $700 for the puppy. I reached out to the business called Stunning Maltipoo and demanded a refund. The person insisted it wasn't a scam but I do not have a puppy and I am out of $700. I typed in the number that called the next day about the shipping cost of the rental crate and that's when I saw another person's complaint with the same details but under a different business name called Royal Shihtzu Breeders. Both of the websites are exactly alike but with different breeds of puppies. They may have other puppy breeder sites out there as well
