PureMaineCoon Reports & Reviews (9)

This is cold blooded scammers. Unfortunately we found out all reviews 30 minutes after I send deposit $500. They were playing game with me for a week, and the same case scenario happened. Last text from this monster was, that she is in a church, and waiting for my next payment for electrical cage, because they have 0 degrees in Mineola. I got tired of all this lye and send link to this site. I also file report with my bank and police, and submit complain throw government site. I am sure that punishment will find this person, who has guts to say that she is in a church.
People , please be more carefool and suspicious .

Found a beautiful cat that I wanted to add to our family. "Emma Mia" or whatever her name is, said she would need $500 deposit then $400 upon delivery. I felt like this was alot of money for a cat but after looking up what alot of the Maine [censored] cats cost, I felt like I was getting a good deal, so I proceeded. After she got my $500, she was really hard to get in touch with. When she finally responded, she said we had to pay an additional $550 for a heated pet carrier plus $200 to the pet nanny who was supposedly taking care of the airport departure. Well, once they got all of my money, she would not respond at all. No answers to phone calls, text, emails. And no beautiful maine [censored] cat that I spent $1250.00 for. Also she had to get paid through the Zelle app which has been a royal pain in the butt! This has been a terrible experience! I really hope that people will do their research before trusting in someone like this like I did.

If I could give PureMaineCoon zero stars, I would. They are a scam. They appear legitimate until you request pictures with some proof of date or a FaceTime review. They got $500 out of me for a “deposit”, and when I got sketched out (they sent me five different Zelle accounts for the remainder of the balance and requested I pay immediately before even receiving the cat), I figured out what was happening, and they ghosted me with no refund. I’m going to spam this all over the web and better business bureau in hopes nobody else falls victim to their bull[censored] again! I was able to find a reputable breeder and get the cat of our dreams, but not until after I lost $500 to these jerks.

Omg im literally back and forth emailing her and was about to zelle her until i seen this

Unfortunately, I was just involved into heart-breaking scam by Emma and her online website puremainecoon.com business.
We were communicating via email for a couple of weeks. I explained it to her I already have a cat and I need some scent of new a new kitten a week prior to a delivery. Emma said I had to pay a $450.00 deposit in order to reserve the kitten. I was surprised that the payment method was only through Zelle and they would not accept any other form. But I sent her the money anyway (to her "husband" email address) because I really fall in love with the kitten. I asked for more pictures and video and they provided it to me... I also asked for a contact phone number ( I had some questions to discuss), but they never responded. Nevertheless they did send an email to thank for a payment. I wanted to pick up the kitten, but it was not an option. Emma said they are extremely responsible for the kittens health, so they deliver them personally via air delivery only. I also had to report to the Vet Doctor in 48 hrs after delivery and send them the kitten condition report (since they would give me 2 years warranty for the kitten).
I continued insisting on sending a scent of the new kitten before the delivery. I also let them know I was ready for a delivery date ( I already spent more money for a new kitten arrival)...But guess what? There was no answer anymore...
I finally decided to go online and check who Emma is and how legit her website...
and here I am...writing a complain. They are total SCAM and total BOGUS.
I don't know how they are able to keep this website open and operating.
Someone has to shut them down for good!
These people are heartless. They don't care how much they hurt people. They play with your feelings and love for cats! They are disgusting! I hope you will read my story before to contact puremainecoon.com. I hope my story will save your money and it will keep you from heart-breaking disappointment.

Can you reach out to me? I believe I just failed for the same hack.

This is a scam. They took my 450 dollars and never sent me a kitten. They are a really good and well thought out scam as well. When you email them they send you a email back saying the kitten you want is available. They send you a video of the kitten so you feel like it is legit. They message you and ask you when you want it shipped. They sent you a contract! everything seemed good. Then they hit you with.. the cat needs a special crate and you will need to send 350 more to ship the cat. Even thought the contract says 250 to ship. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! They have reviews on their website that are probably fake and they are NOT registered with TICA like they say they are... BE CAREFUL.. i would not order a kitten off the internet. Go to a local breeder where you can see the kitten in person.. will it cost more? yes but at least you wont get scammed out of money and get NOTHING. Learn from my mistake. Oh.. and there are several sites out there like this one.. So its probably all the same person or persons. Also they used Zelle so i can't get my money returned. Emma Mia is the "wife" name and Thomas allison Mia is the husband.. this is who i sent the zelle to. They say they are in Minnesota but the nbr they gave me is in North Dakota. Called the number and no one answers. The website is a EU website. So they are not even in the USA. If i can help one person not get scammed i will feel better about myself getting scammed!.

You want to purchase a Maine C o o n Kitten from this site. They say they will ship. If you ask for a new picture of the kitten, they say they can’t and get offended. Plus, they don’t except pick-ups. Also, cats are copied from other sites. They claim to have these kittens and were called by a guy with a Pennsylvania number. Fraud totally.

This company is supposed to be a Cattery, where you can by a Maine C o o n Cat. I went on the website and started a chat about a kitten I wanted to buy. They asked me to pick the kitten and the needed a $250 deposit, $200.00 for shipping and $100 to be delivered to my house. I asked about shipping an animal and the owner tells me she sends a cat nanny to escort the kitten.
I heard from a man, via text, that he was leaving in the morning, which was a Sunday. I had to buy a heated carrier for $550 since they were traveling from North Dakota to Cleveland, Ohio. Many hours later, he texted me from Dallas airport saying the kitten needed a vaccine for traveling and the Dallas airport would not let him travel until the vaccine was given and asked for $1,000. Never showed up that night, and he texted me the next day and told me he couldn't find me, so he went back to North Dakota. The whole ordeal was repeated by the owner. She promised me she would bring her herself… NEVER SHOWED. Then promised a refund for all the money. Has not paid me one penny. Her excuse for not making it here was because she was in an accident with the kitten and could'n not bring her.
