So Purusha people is advertised as an organically made clothing company. Per the website, said to be HANDMADE in California. The business owner Hayley, says she is the only employee, but she cannot make the amount of clothes herself that she sells. Shes been lying and gaslighting customers as quality has changed and gone downhill drastically “that never happened.” She refuses to accept any feedback, as it’s considered “negative.” She will block you on every form of social media if you call her out, with proof, of her poor business practices. She says she lives in California, and her closes are advertised as being made in LA. But the address, which you have to DIG to find on Google, is set in Connecticut. She claims she has multiple warehouses, but she’s a small business and everything is handmade in small batches. Nothing is adding up with any of her stories. I have been a buyer since March 2022. The clothing quality has gone down drastically in the last year, as prices have gone up! A singular jumpsuit is now $200+. Nothing is ever consistent in sizing or fabric. The quality issues they have are absolutely terrible, for the price of the clothing. You can email support [email protected] and they will give you false info and excuses and blame the CUSTOMER for the quality issues straight out of the package. I have proof of multiple people with photos of emails and the issues with the item, and Purusha’s response. Hayley says she donates 10% of all profits to charities, we have YET to see any charities or anything being donated. She stands on all lies and nothing is honest about her or her company. She had issues with dye spots after people washed an item, by itself, upon receiving from the website. As multiple customers have spoken out about the quality issues, they have been muted, had their comments deleted or hidden, and have been blocked by her social medias of Purusha People. Hayley has also had her email person, Dona, reply to these people and blame it on the detergent they used for the dye spots from just purely washing. They have made excuses like that to people, even when people use soap nuts, not a detergent. Theres absolutely 0 accountability, transparency and honesty with the owner Hayley, and the company Purusha People. For a $200 jumpsuit, I expect all promised with that, and not to be gaslit when bringing my issues to attention of customer service.
