Initial communication through fake Telegram account named "Ivan Railklin" - he added an extra "l" that was very difficult to detect. The real Ivan E. Raiklin is a highly respected & well know podcaster, public speaker, former Green Beret. All around stand up guy with impeccable integrity. Someone created a fake account using one of Ivan's frequently used photos. I had recently interviewed Ivan E Raiklin on my podcast, saw his name & photo on Telegram. I sent a greeting thinking it was the real Ivan Raiklin I had just interviewed for my podcast. Dialogue then proceeded to crypto & because of the real Ivan's stellar reputation, I didn't question the validity. I started seeing red flags & did some investigating, quickly learned I had been scammed. I reported it to Telegram, they closed his account. I downloaded all of our communication before that happened. He opened up another account using "Ivan Raiklin" and started contacting me on 11/6/24; that account has also been closed. Now he has opened a 3rd account using "Ivan Raiklin" name, started contacting me again 11/15/24. The real Ivan E Raiklin is an American, but I am certain the fake "Ivan" is not American - syntax in his communication is not American. Would love to help nail this scammer.
