Attached is information about my original scam. The second happened last Monday, May 3rd. This time they wanted $1,600 to protect my computer and personal email from foreign attacks and claimed that someone in Nigeria was attacking my computer and IP address. They can outwardly appear legitimate but the deeper I dig the more questions I have (like they never respond to email only phone calls; their website shows European staff but everyone sounds from India; they use multiple companies to process payments, complete forms, etc. I have more documents with further research and info on the May 3rd event.

This incident happened to my father: Internet browser had a popup saying that his computer was infected, and to call the number listed, which he did. The technician explained to him that his IP address had been compromised, and he had several thousand issues which he "showed" to my father. They then convinced him to purchase their "tech support" for around $600; however, they ended up charging over $700. They then installed some cheap software (360 Total Security), pretended to fix issues and cleanup malware/viruses, and told him he would have lifetime access to the software, but would only be granted limited free tech support before he would have to pay. The company appears to be brand new, within the last 30 days, but I have experience as a PC technician myself, and recognized all of the red flags.
