Scammer somehow found out I was applying for a remote jobs through LinkedIn. I then received a text message from a number saying my application fit a job application and all I had to do was verify that I the job. after verifying I wanted the job Scammer somehow found out I was applying for a remote jobs through LinkedIn. I then received a text message from a number saying my application fit a job application and all I had to do was verify that I wanted the job after verifying I wanted to job, I was asked to verify my name, phone number and address. After verifying all this information, I then went back on LinkedIn to see if , I was asked to verify my name, phone number and address. After verifying all this information, I then went back on LinkedIn to see if I did apply for this job. After saying I did not apply for the job, I then decide to report. I was also asked to download Signal. Where Jonathan Massey, the scammer, text me from a different number, +1 (707) 742-3492. I also received a check, but I have not cash it due to knowing that it is a counterfeit.
