Received an email from GSQUAD that my credit card was charged per automatic renewal for a 3year service agreement with Best Buy -The Geek Squad for $599.99. Logo on page.
A customer service number was given for questions or cancellation of renewal. Unfortunately, I called the number-so now the scammer has my phone number. I don’t him I didn’t agree to any auto renewal. I must have woke him up. He never asked for CC #, fake receipt account number provided in email-he just confirmed my cell #. I asked where he calling from? He said CA. I asked to speak to his supervisor-he told me I was not calling during normal working hours. I told him to email me a cancellation receipt-he agreed, but didn’t receive one of course.
