I applied to Quaker Houghton on LinkedIn and got a response from a Gmail account saying I was selected for an interview. The interview was a word document I was to fill out and email back within 90 minutes. I did this and then an hour later they said they wanted to move forward with hiring me, which was weird because I never even spoke to anyone. They also said they'd send me money to set up my "mini-office" and never answered what software I would need to download. I started to do some digging, the website and the company are all real, but the person who posted the job is a duplicate of a real person from Quaker Houghton. I made Quaker Houghton aware of the scam that was posted and they said they would make other people aware but the job is still up and the fake profile is also still up.
