Kevin Glen Whiting came to my house on october 4th to fix my oven, he claimed to be licensed and experienced. He told me I needed a part for my control board of my oven and that he would offer me a discount if I ordered it with him that day and pay him cash for it, I wrote a check out for $313 to his person name Kevin Whiting he told me he would come the following week to install it. I got busy and never followed up with him and he never contacted me to schedule either. I tried calling and he told me he was sorry he got busy and he could be there that week, well he did this a total of 5 times before actually showing back up on Halloween day October 31st and he said the company sent him the wrong part as he pointed out the part he recieved was for a single oven not a double in which mine was at the time, then he said he could have the part overnighted and be back the following day friday November 1st. I told him I wouldn't be home I'm leaving town and i would leave my front door unlocked for him to just come in and fix it anyway, because at this point it had been over a month the oven wasn't fixed and I felt pressure from the 9 other renters who live here to get it done. I came home sat night and noticed my oven was not fixed and luckly everything seemed to be in place. I contacted him first thing sunday morning November 3rd and asked what happened he told me the part wasn't going to be delivered until tuesday the 5th of November and he would be here weds the 6th of November to fix it.

I then asked for my money back and he said it was a special order part and I couldn't receive my refund, he demanded he give me the part and I refused as i know other companies won't install outside parts. He took my money and over 30 victims money he's on the CCB website for warning others and much more. He cost me over $1,900 time lost and heartache I really hope if you know of other victims to please call the DOJ at 1-877-877-9392
