As a Comcast/Xfinity customer, I had tried to retrieve and send emails on my Apple computer. I was eventually told that my router needed to be exchanged. The router I use, I purchases in 12/15. Being highly doubtful that my router was at fault, I went to the purchasing sige ~ Amazon ~ to check out the warranty/expected life span of my router. The last Amazon person with whom I spoke, gave me a number at GOOGLE to call re: my problem. When I called that number ~ an unidentified man answered and I asked who he was. He said he was with Quantom Solution (QS). I told him my issue ~ he put me in touch with another man (BTW - these folks were not US born and were, I believe, not operating in the USA) who indicated that he would be able to help me get my email back up and running. The problem was that I had been hacked, somehow (HA!!!!). Someone in "Dayton, OH is using my internet connection as well". I was given to another person who explained what QS does, how long it will take, and price points for purchasing their service: $249.99 for a one time fix; $349.99 for a one year subscription up to $549.99 for a 3-year subscription ~ "choose whichever one I feel I can afford". I chose the first one (just a first time amt.); I was offered that amt. plus $50.00 for a one year subscrip. ~ at the "generosity" of the man with whom I was speaking. I then gave my credit information and signed using an online signature "thingee". Then I waited for the amt of time I was told (approx. 2 hours). BUT! I called my credit card company and my computer person. My credit card company said that QS was not on their scam list. I do believe that they spelled the "Q" part with an "a" rather than an "o". My computer person said this sounded familiar and he thought it was a scam based on other clients' reports. I waited for the call; the charge went thru AND I HAD MY SERVICE RESTORED FOR RECEIVING AND SENDING EMAILS. GREAT! The next day I had emails still ~ but could not send any. I immediately called my credit card company registering my concern and they will contest the charge when it appears AND I am receiving a new credit card. I am not trying to forgive myself for being so gullible ~ I knew better but my need outweighed my intuition!! What REALLY amazes me is that GOOGLE was the "port" thru which these guys operated!

I have included the jpg which is on my desktop which they gave me for reference. Has anyone heard of these guys before????
