A.K.A. Techmax IP Solutions Also used phone # 888-570-8175 I clicked on a message link on Facebook on 2/13/24 and my screen was filled with a message that I was attacked by trojan spyware. I called the number on the screen for help and allowed the person on the other end to take over my screen. I was also asked to sign a contract electronically and send a copy of my check using our printer. The next morning, I realized that it was very likely that the person who attacked my computer was also the person who duped us into letting them fix it. We had McAfee clean my computer remotely and stopped payment on the check. The credit union closed our account and had us open a new one. I have changed over 50 passwords and have blocked calls from numerous numbers from all over North America claiming they are a collection agency.
