I saw a website for french bulldogs for sale. As I was trying to confirm the breeder's registration number (which was what I was told to do since their website had AKC merit) they refused to unless I paid for the puppy. The AKC registration number is a way to confirm the litter and breeder are registered. The person refused to give it.
