I have come across a recent news article from Houston; looks like Quest Moving LLC has made the news for pain and suffering of another victim:
https://abc13.com/society/woman-says-movers-still-have-her-stuff-2-months-after-...⇄ />
I moved from Oregon to Maryland after my PhD program to accept a job at the NIH. I have been paying rent for an empty apartment for almost 3 months now with no communication initiated from Quest. I had to buy a futon for my 10 yo son and I to sleep on. My heart broke when the first day of school came and he didn't have a desk to do his homework. The foreman failed to give me the Bill of Lading after I refused to sign because they raised the price by $3000 after loading the truck. I was able to snap pictures of the pages of the sloppy BOL the foreman was trying to make me sign. He told me to contact customer service, took off with my properties, and until today, almost 3 months later, I still do not have the BOL or any delivery updates.
Many other victims have reported damaged and stolen properties. One victim even got notified by their insurance company that their vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident while the vehicle was supposed to be in Quest Moving LLC's storage. Quest Moving LLC would hold properties hostage for months without disclosing the location of their warehouses and have very limited communication with customers.
