The man referred himself as David and claimed he was tech support. That the automatic payment we had didn't go through. We believed it at first due to recently changing one of our card numbers. But as he's asking me for card payment. I go online and see that my payment had gone through just fine. So I told him I would call back later. Then he explained to me that some of the software needed to be updated. He asked me to hit F2 on my company and then F1. I told him I didn't know how to do that. When I asked why so much for my plan when we don't pay that much he explained it was because we also had to do the software update. I told him I couldn't at the moment and would call later and hung up. I knew it was a scam after checking if the payment went through. He had a indian accent. Could barely understand him.
