I called this company and asked them to send someone out, I waited 2 hrs and nobody responded, I call them back and asked them if they could come out after 5:00pm, because I had a doctor's appointment. They said yes, I waited and waited until I finally called them back at 8:30pm, they said that someone already had been out and fixed the problem, I said nobody has been out, they said hold on and put me on hold, then they came back on the phone and said they had got me mixed up with someone else and had made a mistake. Then she asked me if I still need someone, I said yes, then she said someone will call me soon. Within a few minutes the service technician called me and verified my address and said that he would be out in about a half hour. Then about 30 minutes later he called and said he was here and to come outside. I did but he wasn't here yet, he was pulling into the parking lot. He pulled up next to my car and asked me if this was my car and I said yes. He didn't even ask for any proof that it was my car. He said he couldn't make a key for the car, but he could break in and open it for a fee of $ 215.00, I said no. He said that if I have cash, that his boss would let him break in my car for $ 150.00. Again I said no. In the meantime he was on his cellphone with another customer on speakerphone and I could hear her tell him that she could not afford their services. He was trying to bargain with me again while she was on the phone. I then asked him how much the service call fee was for coming out here and he said $ 29.00. I went inside and got cash and paid him $ 30.00 and told him thank you and went back inside. He was still outside on the phone with the customer. After a few minutes he left. Within a 15 minutes my phone was ringing with a unfamiliar number, I didn't answer, then it rang again, I still didn't answer, by the 3rd time I figured I better answer, because someone was trying to get a hold of me. I answered and the guy answered and asked for me by my first name and I asked who is this? He said he was with the locksmith company and asked me why didn't I want the service that was offered to me and I said I can't afford that and why did that technician charge me $ 29.00 when your online site says that the service call is $ 19.00, He said that it's $ 19.00 for the gas alone. I said that is false advertisement and he said that it's printed on the website. He then said he would check and call me back. I said don't bother, I'm going to report you to the ScamPulse.com and I said bye and hung up. Then I got another unknown phone number calling me at about 11:15pm. No voicemail left. There was no name on the van he drove either. When you click on that website there is no address, but the same phone number, but the service fee says $ 15.00. This does not make any sense. Why couldn't they make a key?? Why didn't they ask for proof that it is your car. This was very strange to me. I couldn't sleep last night, because I was nervous that they were mad that I didn't fall for their scam..nothing makes any sense..

The website quicklocksmith247.com lists the cost a rekeying a lock as 19$. But when they sent a "technician" to my place he quoted 80$ to rekey a lock that costs 28$. I had 4 locks in total, and the total cost for the job, including labor and service visit cost, tax etc. was 450$. When I said this was too high, he proceeded to give a cash discount and quoted a final price of 260$. This was still no where near what was quoted on the website. I ended up having to pay him the 20$ for service visit, which was basically him spending 5 minutes trying to rip me off.
