I received the email below and immediately contacted the real Quinn Construction who now have a message on their landing page warning people of the scam and asking them to email them directly. I have included the original scam email as well as my email to the real Quinn Construction below.

Dear Prospective Candidate,

I am contacting you to inform you that your resume posted on Ncaa Job website has been reviewed and you have been selected for an online briefing/interview with the Human Resources Manager Mr. Frank Johnson to brief you more about the job position, duties and pay with our company.

Positions Available are :

Admin Assistant, Sales, HR , Operation Director, Logistics Coordinator, Safety Manager, Office Admin, Customer Service, Project Manager, Technical Support, Project Manager, IT Jobs..etc

The interview is done via Skype.

If you have Skype, Kindly invite Mr.Frank Johnson on Skype and send him a message saying "QC22 - Am here for my interview" His Skype user ID is ([email protected])

A timely response will be appreciated and this interview won't take more than 30 minutes or less. All information will be provided to you via Skype

Today I received this email attached below claiming to be from your company but which seems rather suspicious since the HR manager is using a gmail address. I would appreciate it of you could review it and confirm my suspicion that it is indeed a fake account.

This scammed by the name Frank Johnson, emailed me telling me about a job interview for data entry. He told me to download Google Hangout where a text interview will be conducted. After General, and even some personal questions such as age, he offered me the position for data entry. He offered me $25/hr for one week of training, and $35 afterward. He said it’s 5 days a week, 6-8 hours, flexible schedule. To top it off, he said I’ll send you a check to buy office supplies for your at home job such as an Apple laptop, printer, desk etc, that id have to buy through a vendor. This was all too good to be true and sounded really fake- so I asked for the website which also looked fake. I then asked for the business #, as I was unable to locate the business name Quinn Construction Inc, on BBB.org. After asking for that, he never replied back and disappeared. ALWAYS do your research. I trusted my gut to walk away, and turns out I was right for doing that- because it indeed is a scam website, scam person, and scam job! Research, research, research. Always confirm company legitimacy on BBB.org, and CALL them too.
