I am reporting BetterMe which is a program that did multiple targeted ad's on instagram for me to sign up for wall pilates. The initial trial was $25.99 to access the wall pilates as well as other health features on their app. The terms outlined that after a 3 month trial, a fee of $53.04 would be charged for another three months. The same day I downloaded the app and paid for the trail (7/2/2023), I was unable to access the wall pilates portion of the app. When clicking on that feature, it said "oops. Something went wrong" the only support offered through this app is through their email address: [email protected] . I emailed them 4 times before they replied. (8/8/23, 8/11/2023, 8/15/2023, 9/20/2023 - all emails during trial period.) How interesting that I finally get a reply at 6 AM on 10/1/2023 saying my reoccuring charge was canceled and I was no longer a paying member for BetterMe. Hours later, $53.04 is pending withdrawal from my account. They charged me for another 3 months of service. I emailed another 4 times (10/2/2023, 10/5/2023, 10/11/2023, and 10/16/2023) and I have still not heard from anyone. They charged me a total of $79.03 for a service I never was provided. They need to be reported so they cannot do this to anyone else!

They did take my money and now will not return my emails to support. I have sent over 10 trying to first fix the app, then how to cancel it before the trial, then again when they charged me for the 3 months of service I could never access. PS I have proof of all of this but the file will not upload :( I give you permission to email me since the next few pages asks for me personal info and I would be happy to share my statements proving charges as well as the correspondence I have sent via email.
