Through my email from Quora Digest on the evening of April 11, 2024 around 9:00 pm, I clicked a highlighted statement concerning a serum that would remove your skin tags and moles without having them removed by a medical person. It took me to information about what this serums does and that it was the No. 1 business through Shark Tank on TV. I noticed the secure .com website and all this overwhelming information to back up this product. However, being impressed by all of this put my Visa card information and pressed the order button. I expected to see some other information on the next page for a total charge and shipping but there was not another screen indicating this necessary information from me. Then a couple of minutes later I get a text from my credit union on the charge on my Visa card of $199.99 from this BIOLYF SUPLY. The amount was a lot more and I knew this was not a legit transaction. I had not completed all the information that should have been necessary. I told them NO when they asked me if I would ok this transaction. The credit union person left their number and I immediately called. I explained the situation and he told me it was declined and card not charged. He said at the very least it was a BAIT AND SWITCH. The website was not set up in the usual way and that should have been a RED FLAG! My thoughts were different - a SCAM!! If it sounds too good to be true, it more than likely is. He gave me a case number which he would notify my credit union and I should call them next morning. I did call them and they will close this card and reissue another cards for me. I got lucky! I am so grateful my credit union had my back! You can not be too careful these days. There are too many bad people out there trying to take advantage of others. What a tragedy it is this way. I, more than ever, will be on my guard!
