Type of a scam Employment
QY Shippers inc now trying to find localized representatives in a number of states throughout the UNITES STATES territory to maintain service and handle nearby client issues.
I received a 12 page employment contract.
I received 5 Shipments which I would open and photograph, re-box and send the pictures and shipping invoice back to them. They in turn would send me a prepaid shipping label for FedEx. The last shipment was a iPhone 12. I received a letter from a lady saying her credit card had been scammed and it showed that the iPhone had been shipped to me. I immediately called QY Shippers on 12-22-20. They said don't do anything and they would refer it to their General Counsel. The following day, 12-23-20, I started calling them. All phones disconnected and website shut down. I have all kinds of documentation. I have reported it to the Georgia Attorney General Office. Also to the Internet Fraud Form on line by the FBI I think. The AG Office said this: You might be interested to know that in December 2020, the Better Business bureau issued an alert on this company. It appears that complaints have alleged that the company is advertising job openings on LinkedIn. Consumers are “hired” to perform quality control. They receive packages, inspect the items, print a new label and reship the items, often overseas. You also might have been asked to fill out employment papers and provide copies of your SSN card and/or personal identification.
