Rad power bikes is scamming their customers. They have been knowingly selling defective bikes with throttles that get stuck and brakes that fail to engage, they have been lying about their 500 watt motor being a 750 watt motor, they have lied about their battery’s range, and they have been lying about their warranty and repairs. They promised to have my bike fixed when they sent it to me in a completely opened box with damaged and missing parts and they never did anything to keep their word and I had to buy aftermarket parts to get it working. After that I had the throttle get stuck at max while the brake simultaneously failed to engage and I was nearly killed and left with 2 feet on road rash on my right side. When I contacted them about this they lied repeatedly claiming they would fix my problem only to balk at me when I told them I live in palm beach county and that their supposedly real repairs team might have to drive an hour to fulfill their obligations towards me. They tried to talk me into taking my bike to local shops that they had agreements with but when I called those places they had no idea who rad power bikes are and told me they don’t repair them. Rad also tried to convince me to pay for the damages myself and then send them a receipt and then they will decide whether or not to keep their word, and they also said that them repairing my bike after it was sent to me in a defective and broken condition would void my warranty, which is totally unfair because they are the source of the problem.

They only solutions I am interested in are either 1. Forcing them to keep their word and provide repairs or 2. Keep their word and refund my money to me.

And to anyone thinking about purchasing from rad power bikes, don’t everything they are claiming and telling people is lies. They don’t have a large presence like they claim, they are not the number one brand by any metric, they don’t sell 750w motor bikes like they claim, their batteries do not provide anywhere near 40 miles of range let alone 50, they send the bikes in secure packaging or working condition, they do not back up their warranty, they cannot provide repairs outside of the local areas, and they have zero intentions of being honest or honorable in the least because you can see that these problems, including the defective throttle and brakes which can easily kill someone, have been well known by rad power bikes for years, going back at least to 2017, and they have done less than nothing to address this issues let alone acknowledge that they exist.

tl;dr - unless you like flushing your money down the toilet don’t buy from rad power bikes. You’ll regret it if you do.
