I googled for "rare breed triggers" and the first two results were this apparent scam website which claims to be an accredited business by the BBB, I chose to purchase using BTC because it had been performing well against the dollar. The BTC equivalent at the time for $300 for the product and $25 for shipping was sent to the address provided and I got an email telling me the order was being processed. The website said it could take 3-11 business days to arrive so after hearing nothing I emailed on 7/12 asking about the order and it was marked shipped and I was provided a tracking number with a company I had never heard of https://bluewavelogistics.us/ initially this showed estimated delivery 7/17 but the next day the status changed and they were asking for a "refundable insurance fee" The feed they requested was $245 and I wasn't about to pay this. It was at this point that I decided to dig deeper. I reached out to the owner of the real company on facebook and discussed the situation and was made aware they are currently not doing business and that several sites including the one that scammed me have popped up pretending to be his business. I have the emails to and from the scam site as well as screenshots of my transaction.

I purchased a trigger from rarebreedtriggers.net before learning the trigger has a halt on sales. The website intentionally misleads by saying: This is NOT an NFA item, and can be purchased without any special license. It does not make your AR-15 fully automatic or a machine gun under the NFA. Don’t miss out on this gem!! See UNITED STATES v. RARE BREED TRIGGERS LLC for the court case. If I had known this, I would not have purchased. After the purchase went through (I have transcripts of interacting with the trigger company and the "logistic" company shipping it). The logistic company requested an insurance deposit of $265 and said it would be delivered within a few days after payment. Payment was made. The item never arrived and after contacting the logistic company again, they said they need a $465 warehouse fee. The logistics company calls themselves Blue Waters Logistics (https://bluewaterslogistics.com). A friend had purchased said item and showed me a receipt which then read rarebreedtrigger.com (which is no longer active). It seems this website has cloned the original and is intentionally misleading people who haven't done the legal research (like I didn't).
