Ray ban Reports & Reviews (44)

A friend alerted me to a 90% discount on Ray Ban sunglasses. Wow. What a deal. Only a one day sale. I couldn't wait. I entered my credit card information. After the purchase was "denied", I thought to check the website. I called my credit card company to cancel my card and get a new one.

Website offers designer sunglasses at a very low price. I didn't fall for it.

Link by a friend on facebook about a Ray Ban 90% off sale. Looked at the URL, and its clearly not Ray Ban's but it is posing as the official site with account login and cart checkout.

I tried to buy RayBans on what was called a One Day Sale. It offered glasses for 90% off. I should have known better, but the website seemed legit and exactly the the actual RayBan website. I placed the order. After I placed it -- and it wasn't on a secure server -- I began to get suspicious. I did some research and then contacted customer service to cancel. They emailed me back -- in broken English -- and told me that there bank charges 10% to make a refund (even though I asked to cancel the order in the 6 hour time frame listed on their website) and that it would take 20-30 business days to get the refund.

So, I don't plan on seeing that refund, but I wanted to let people know that this is a scam.

Fake url sends to counterfeit products page.

They send you a text that reads

"[Ray--Ban] Discount Sunglasses,Up to 90% Off, Free-Delivery,Ends Tomorrow! 2018-hott.pw ."

When you click on the link, it takes you to a website that has been classified by Google as "Deceptive: Attackers on www.2018-erb.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards)."

A friend posted that Ray Ban was having a 90% off sale. This website was listed, but does not seem to have any affliation to Ray Ban.

This site claims 90% off ray ban sunglasses on a sale that lasts a day.

Well i placed an order. Got an email saying it was good to go. But custimer service wouldnt contact me. So i xqlled rayban ans they said its a scam site. So 40 dollars later and i feel like an [censored]

I was not personally scammed, but this site says it Ray-Ban official website and it is not. Says that items are up to 95% (give or take) off. I went to the real Ray Ban site and it is not the same IP address. I believe this is a scan to get people's money.

Email scam for 70-80% off ray-bans

- Anchorage, AK, USA

An offer for a large one day only discount for Ray Ban sunglasses showed on Facebook. Upon ordering no receipt or any other mean of communication with the website works. After some inspections the website is proven a fraud.

This website claims to be an rayban outlet and after purchasing and not receiving my order, I called the official ray ban number and they informed me this is a fraudulent website.

Presented on Facebook as spring sale 90% off sunglasses took you to the web site that said ray ban looked just like their website when I went back to check on shipping the website is not found it charged the account and then charged another fee separate the amount was not even what was sent in confirmation email

I received a facebook post from a friend that Ray-Ban is having a one day sale with up to 90% discounts on their products.

So I seized the great deal. Now, two days later, when I wanted to log in and check the status of my order - I was not able to do so.

Haven't received anything yet, of course, and I doubt that I will.

A bit later I checked that this address is just one many that uses Ray-Ban name.

P. S. I'm not able to choose country that I'm actually from, so I chose it on random from list available.

FAKE

- Matthews, NC, USA

Saw a sponsored ad on Facebook for Ray-Bans for 90% off at rbmell.com. Went to it and ordered 8 pairs at $19.99 each. Ended up being a fake ad. Can't believe I fell for it. After getting email I checked online and found it was not a safe website, had no phone to contact them. When I did email them to cancel my order they said the restocking fee was 20% of the order. My credit card sent me a warning of fraud but when I called they said since I initiated the order it wasn't fraud and to play it out and then dispute the charge once it cleared. I did and the credit card credited me the full amount. The site went away on Jan 2, 2018 and no emails that i have sent have been responded to. They did either sell my credit card into or try to use it afterwards but I had canceled the card and got a new one when I realized my stupidity. Other websites they use include ray-friday.com
