This website offered German Shephard puppies for sale. After some back and forth communication I agreed to purchase the puppy. The “owner” gave me his Zelle information and said as soon as he received confirmation of the payment he would begin making arrangements for delivery of the puppy. The next morning he contacted me and let me know that he had dropped the puppy off at Pet Express Shipping and that they would contact me with all of the flight information. The first email I received from Pet Express stated that due to the current weather the crate that had been supplied was not adequate for transport but that I could rent a crate from them. The quoted me a price and said that upon return of the crate I would be refunded 95% of the fee paid. I immediately became suspicious and asked ray German Shepard’s to contact us by phone but he said he was at work and could not. That is when I knew it was a scam.
