Both my wife received (about 2 weeks ago) and I just received what appears to be a phishing text from someone claiming to be RBC aka Royal Bank Canada. Both times the text claimed that our credit card beginning in 4519 had been disabled and ‘kindly’ provided a link to “secure the account”. While my wife and I do have an RBC credit card neither of them starts with the above number AND banks identify cards using the LAST 4 digits not the first as there are hundreds of thousands of cards with the first 4 digits but only a few with the last 4 digits. Not sure what they are up to but it is an obvious scam.

They've been calling everyday for weeks. Finally picked up and told them to stop calling. Guy, seemed to be a live person on the other end, continue to talk about their services. Hung up on them.

I usually don't answer calls from unknown numbers but I was wanting to put a stop to the large calls we were receiving as of late.
I thought I was answering "yes" to a person when asked my identity.
I know about the "yes" scam, but didn't connect the dots until the 'person' replied which sounded slightly different, so I assumed one or both voices were automated.
I hung up right away, hopefully not too late.

I have received email That "(RBC) For your safety, we have temporarily disabled your RBC account. Please sign in to http://rbc.ltsc.ro/ to restore your access. Royal" Since I don't have RBC account it looks suspicious. I tried to go that link, I found it was fake RBC page only accepting User name and password.
It is asking peoples to type their username and password, so they can withdraw money.
