I received a suspicious email from that account I listed before, claiming to be from Norton antivirus. They had the Norton logo but from [email protected] and also misspelled words ("bussiness" for example). However, because they claimed to have charged me 387, and I was worried they had somehow illegally grabbed my credit card information. I called the number listed, and the man who answered said that I had signed up for a free trial and that it had run out and I was paying for the regular service. He told me to go to rbcare.live and then enter a code. At that point (there was no indication that this was the actual Norton site), I said I would absolutely not enter that code and give him access to my PC. I also said that this was all sounding like a scam. He hung up. I called right back, and I said "We were just speaking." To which he replied, "No, this is the first time we have spoken." So I told him I was reporting his scam, and he hung up again. I am so worried that folks like my mom and mother-in -law will get fooled by this scam.
