They text me to set up an interview after I applied for a remote data entry position on Indeed. The interview had 200+ other people on it and the man running it had no name attached to his zoom screen. The information he gave was vague about the company but promised big $$$. They had us all fill out another form (which makes no sense because we’ve already given them this information). The next day (12 hrs later) I received another text to setup another interview. I agreed and they text again with a zoom code for the next interview but also explained I needed to be prepared to pay $99 for my state certification. This made me feel uncomfortable so I looked up state requirements for the position and couldn’t find anything. I looked up the company and couldn’t find anything except others claiming similar experiences.
