I've received an email stating that I've been selected for a remote job paying $4.800. It doesn't address my name, only email address. It included a video to explain the job position.

- Jonesboro, GA, USA • Mar 14, 2024

I received an email about an remote position “countrywide shipment analyst I never recalled ever applying for a job like that , they said I will receive flexible time , bonuses and a fixed income , but I never seen anything about benefits so that was the first red flag , the layout of the email seemed a bit sketchy when I opened it as well it was link attached to the email saying it’s a video about what the job is like but I never opened it I tried to look up the company before responding to anything and nothing pops up but once I looked a little deeper it seems as if this company is scamming.

I got a call in the morning for a job opportunity with FLL Shipping as a shipping Analyst. I may or maynot have applied to them through Indeed/LinkedIn but I have been getting calls about other jobs as well so I thought they were legit at first. The lady screened me and then sent me a contract to my email and I signed the contract using my name, number, address, email and at the end of it, front and back picture of my driver license and a picture of me holding it.

I realized it was a scam when I searched more about and found it here and also through WhoIs (copy and paste their website) which tells me that the domain has been made since March 11, 2024 when I got scammed at March 13, 2024.

No company that new would hire you barely 2 days after their website exists.

Also here is a list of names, numbers, and emails they are using.

She called stating they received my resume from online and thought I would be a good fit for the packaging position. She sent a email with a link to click on sform.io/d28s1b providing name, address, email and photos of ID front and back as well as a selfie with valid government ID. I didn't click on the link.

I replied to a job position for shipping and receiving on Indeed's website. I was called by Minty Perry, HR department from 605-550-9656 to do an interview per telephone. She stated that they needed to do a background check and asked for my name, a picture ID and my address. Per her email [email protected] she stated that she had received my signed contract and that the Shipping Department would be back in contact with me within 24 to 48 hrs to provide me with additional job instructions. I never signed a contract, just a completed W-4 form and gave them my bank account information for direct deposit. Fred Kimble, Shipping Department Supervisor, emailed me ([email protected]), welcoming me to Smart Ship vs Secure Smart Logistics. He sent me video links for the process, as well as, instructions and accepting the terms of employment. He was my main contact, and looking back I realize that it was "too good to be true" and too easy. I had checked ScamPulse.com website, but must've made a mistake as I didn't see any red flag. I started receiving packages from USPS or FedEx and relabeling them per their guidelines online and emails. When I look back, another red flag was that sometimes the labels would be addressed to me and some addressed to other people with my address. Then the new label I had to print off had a different name. They would send me new labels through their program and I would print them out and ship them back out. My wife told her sister about my new "job" and she did a thorough research finding the red flag and bad reviews from previous "employees" and warned me to close my checking account. My wife did question the position in the beginning, but we really needed money as I have been out on an unpaid leave of absence/FML since the middle of January due to knee injury that required major surgery. That evening, my wife suggested we look up the addresses that I was shipping to. The first one she looked up was an empty warehouse that was listed on a website as a rental. We then realized that I really had been duped, besides the report on the BBB. The next day, 3/11/24, when I received a call from Fred, I started questioning him about things that weren't adding up and the address that is on their website. He said that Goggle hadn't updated yet. He was on speaker so I told him my wife was on the call as well. She asked him what country he was from as the ScamPulse.com report stated that they were not at the SD address and he told us that he was in SD. She also questioned him about the different names and he told us it was for security and didn't answer all our questions. He said it was alright to question and did we want him to email me a copy of their legal documents and I said yes. The email he sent had a link to SD Secretary of State and it showed them as a business and an ID with good standing and several documents that could've been forms taken off the internet and filled out plus an IRS document. But just because they have a legal company name does not mean the work they are doing is legal . That same day I had voicemail from a Seminole Co. Sheriff inquiring about one of the packages I had received. The package was picked back up by FEDEX without a new label per Fred. When I returned his call, he informed me that the package was purchased with a stolen credit card and wanted me to email him a copy of the shipping label for that package and any other information that could help to stop this scam. He informed me to return any other packages to the original addresses. I returned 2 to USPS and tried to return 4 pckgs to a local FedEx store yesterday (3/11/24). I was told that they could only return them if I paid for the shipping. I brought them back home and today I called FedEx headquarters and a CSR started a claim (C-141673442) and scheduled a pick up of the packages so they can be returned to the original sender's address. I was not held accountable as it is a scam and my identity has been stolen. I opened another bank account, but the sheriff warned me to look out for people using my personal identification for fraudulent activity. I reported it to the US Inspector Postal Service per their telephone number and the CSR instructed me to report it on their website. I'm going to submit a report to the Federal Trade Commission's website and call the state Attorney General Office. These thieves need to be stopped!!!!!!

I was contacted about a remote "package specialist" job. The job was to receive packages, report them, take pictures, and then drop them off to be shipped to a customer. I did the job for a month and then when it was time to get paid for the first time my login for the job stopped working and when you call the work number all you get is the busy tone.

Name, drivers license and social security. I believe it is a repackaging scam.

- Flowery Branch, GA, USA

I was contacted via email about a job offer that they had opening where I would get $90 a day and $40-$50 in bonuses for every package shipped out on time. I spent from October until November 7 shipping out and receiving packages taking them to my local UPS store and getting the tracking number uploading it to the dashboard when all of a sudden I was contacted on Monday, November 13th about a package that I had received but truthfully, I had never even received that package because there was no tracking number on it and I kept checking the account and it said it was not delivered. However, my manager per se Daniela called me six times and once where she left a voicemail, then continuously called after that, and my husband answered the phone and told me who it was and I answered the phone and she told me oh well, you need to mark that package as received on your dashboard so we go to the details because I was supposed to be paid on time . So fast forward to me asking her about my payment and she said she talked to the accounting department and they told her that I should receive my payment within 24 to 48 hours after Monday which should’ve meant that I would’ve received my payment by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest and Monday after I got off the phone with her. I had two packages that were delivered. I printed shipping labels. I went to my UPS store and ship those out and then shortly after I uploaded the brand new tracking numbers and receipts to the website I was locked out of my account they changed my password and I’ve been contacted them every single day up until 17 November today and I have not been able to get in touch with anybody. I still don’t have a payment and I feel like I just wasted a lot of my time . What threw me off was that they wanted me to work for free for 30 days before they paid me so very scammy please stay away from it.

I was emailed a job offer with a link to apply for the job. After applying for the position, I was contacted by a recruiter who gave me an overview of the position. I was emailed a hiring agreement. After accepting the position, I received emails from Human Resources to set my employee account and I received emails from accounting requesting my direct deposit information as well a W-2 form to fill out and return. The job was going as I was told until it was time for me to get paid. No payment was processed to my account, when I inquired about it with the manager/supervisor I got no response and I was locked out of the employee dashboard. I still have company merchandise and I would like to get the money I work for as well as the funds I was promised to be reimbursed. I have every correspondence between myself and any party related to this company. I will probably never receive that money but I would also like to keep this from happening to other people.

basically, offering a work from home job I thought they wanted to establish trust buy not paying someone the first 30 days. This set up didn't seem fishy at first because you are not paying anything. Then you realize trying to contact someone is nearly impossible until they need you to ship something you get calls and emails. i was questioning them already on the address because i google it and called the number on google. i was told that company doesn't exist there. When i brought that up i was told some bs about the owners allowing them to utilize that space. here is where i knew for sure it was trash, they asked if i wanted to become a shopper for a customer using my personal credit card...i said absolutely not i will not be using my personal card. when i did sign up i updated banking and routing number for pay. they also send bs legal documents to try and prove the legitimacy..

I was working a shipping clerk for this company for a month. I would get packages and resend them. When I started asking about my pay they started acting funny, not sending me packages. When payday came I told my bills are past due and when should I expect my check? They said they will see, now I can't get a hold of them. I got four packages I was supposed to send out and they never sent labels.

I don't know how they got these things or if they are legit, but I think not. I worked a month and got not pay. It was mostly starlink stuff. These are the names of the people I dealt with and the place they're claiming. I got plenty of screenshots about the hiring and transactions.

They acted as a legitimate shipping company and as soon as your payday come they lock you out of the dashboard that they have your username and password to enter to see your jobs task but it turns out to be all fake.

Got a call saying my resume was found pertaining to open jobs, I asked how and when did I apply for the position but was then sent a link to do a rigged up application. Then was told that the job pays $4700 monthly and that I had to work for 30 days before I could get my first payment and moving forward the pay frequency would change to biweekly. I started the job 10.09 and my pay was scheduled for 11.10. When the day approached and passed I had reached out to each and every point of contact from all the emails that were sent throughout the 30 days I worked! And now I don’t even have access to the website where all of my personal information is stored and I NEVER GOT PAID!

I was contacted via phone. Rafael Alfonso with Go Express Shipping. I would like to interview for a job with our company. The questions basically asked if I would I be available to receive packages at home or what ever shipping place I needed to pick them up from. I needed a printer and tape to start with. All supplies would be sent to me in 3- 4 weeks. Was I okay with not getting paid the first 30 days as they need to check and see if I was honest about getting the packages sent out. I asked if I had a choice. He also wanted to know if I could lift 40 pounds as that would be the heaviest package to pick up. Someone would contact me and help with setting up the dashboard to process the orders and I was to send them out in 24 hours. Also, I was to paid $90 per day and then additional money for different things accomplished. After the first 30 days I would receive $4700 and the be paid bi-weekly. He also talked about send me a photo of my state id and that was to cover the last four numbers of it. I said that was unusual as it the other way around. He just laughed. I did ask where he got my information and he said that he got it from Indeed.

He sent me the following emails:
