Total money lost $2,996.66
Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
In 2 1/2 Months, Real Estate Law Firm did not do anything but notify my lender that my family and I had retained their services. After terminating their services, I accrued a loss of $2,996.66. I am now communicating with my Mortgage Company which informed me that Real Estate Law Center "Never Submitted Anything" attempting to modify my home loan. The only paper work submitted by Real Estate Law Firm was legal documentation stating that we had retained them.
I was contacted by a "Case Manager" from Real Estate Law Center that stated that our home loan had been reviewed and they found that our loan was a "Predator" loan in which the Lender was ripping us off. Real Estate Law Firm stated that our home loan would be modified in 30-90 days, our loan was in an "Accelerated Package" and we would be saving money soon.
On 15OCT2015 I was notified that there was nothing that Real Estate Law Center could do for our home loan. I notified Real Estate Law Firm, verbally and in an e-mail, that I would not authorize any more payments on my Credit Card that was on file minutes later. Real Estate Law Firm still charged my account. I spoke to the case manager on 15OCT2015 who stated confusing facts about my case, and we left off that he would contact me on 16OCT2015 at 1PM. The Case Manager did not contact me. I made many phone calls on 16OCT2015 until I finally got a hold of somebody, this was about 4PM. I was infuriated when the same case manager that convinced my wife and me that our loan was a predator loan and that our home loan could be modified to current market value stated to me that there was nothing Real Estate Law Center could do. I demanded a refund and he stated no, because I had "signed" the authorization form. I stated I authorized the service of a loan modification which they poorly performed.
Real Estate Law Center is a Fraud, they will appear as if they are working on a home loan modification, request many documents such as: Bank Statements, Utility Bills a Letter explaining the hardship but in the end, they take your money and do not provide any real legal service...
