I had seen an advertisement for a clothing company, so my mother ordered two t-shirts for Christmas. After not receiving any emails, phone calls, or even the package itself after nearly a month, I called the company to ask about the status of the package. They stated that their carrier had placed them on a low priority list which caused the sudden delay in deliveries. They also stated that I should call back in a week as they would provide a refund regardless if the package was in transit by then or not. I waited until the following week to call back when I was promptly disconnected and blocked from calling the company.
