I was approached via text message by someone who was impersonating a job recruiter. We messaged over text message, and had interview. Afterward, I was told that I was going to get a check to start my home office set-up. They sent me the check, and then had me fill out employment paperwork, keep track of deposit slips. I became suspicious of the operation because the "recruiter" was not very consistent. I reached out to Realogy via their website, and reached out to Deborah Higgins via LinkedIn who told me the job offer was fake.
