Angelica ***** ***** **** Acct# ************ Routing: ********* ****** ******* **** I then was texted and my main form of contact was texting the number provided by a scammer that went by Diana Casten. She said to send me a screenshot once i sent the money. I usually follow my gut instinct and thought something didnt seem right, but i was blinded by desperation. I ssked why i couldnt see the apartment first or sign the lease in person, pay in person as ive always been able to do so. I was told it was because they respect their current tenant's privacy qnd that they have to do the process this way. I was so hesistant. I then sent the money, which went through. I asked if i could make the first months rent in smaller payments since it isnt the 1st qnd i had many othwr bills due to current twnancy. They said yes. She then sent me another acct with a different name. That was rejected. She then sent me another one for zelle which was rejected and she said that the person said its bc their account reached its limit. I asked why i was sending money to so many fifferent people in different areas which i waa goven no real response to. I called my bank and they said they suspect a fraud. The scammer started getting rude saying they normally require.all money upfront but they were making an exception for me. I qsked for a call. I then called twice, and discovered it was a google vouce messaging number. I filed a police report and a fraud report with my bank. They are currently trying their best to get my 500 back. I contacted the actual company i found online and they said they do not sell or rent properties. I found out who the actually property management is for the location and reported to them, ****** ****** **********.
