So I live in Florida and had this real estate company call me from New York who had an offered me 5 times the amount of my Mexico timeshare is worth. That seemed to good to be true. My first red flag was they weren't calling me they were my wife all the time. I was primary on the contract. Never contacted me once. And how did they get my information in the first place? Second looking up their website, it showed they started about a year ago but only had 9 properties in their portfolio. All year?? Seams they should have more by now. Looking up their name and business # throughout New York business websites, not one of their name or business numbers come up. Even punching up Real estate companies in New York or Brokers in lower Manhattan they never popped up Lastly, the last in person phone call, I said no thank you we will pass and he said why? I returned and said I couldn't find your name or number in any New York directories and dished out all these state gov websites and in the mist of this he hung up on me! Not very professional for a realty company. Now, with all these red flags, and how tempting the $$ is, I couldn't do it. They could be legit somehow but I could not fall for it. Beware people!!
