Total money lost $8,000
Type of a scam Tech Support
I attempted to cancel the charge, and I was told that they would refund my payment instantly. However, that did not occur. Supposedly, they needed me to give them access to my checking account for them to redeposit the money into my account. This was drawn out and supposedly, required intervention by the world Bank. Where I was to enter $80 which would test my account essentially. When I entered the $80 using a dollar sign and a decimal point the transaction was instantly converted to eight instead of $80 was converted to $8,000 $8,000. This required me to pay back the $8,000, and in the process they would freeze my personal account until such time I paid back the $8,000. After he was paid back to the use of prepaid gift cards, and with the promise that they were unfreeze my account, my account was never unfrozen, or my funds released back to me. Currently I have $31 in my checking account, and still waiting for someone from the company to refund or to release my funds.
