Thought i could make some extra money by advertising for "Red Bull". So i clicked a link on facebook that said i could make some money putting a Red Bull vinyl wrap on my car to advertise. The link took me to an external website for "surveys". I read the print and it looked pretty legit. I filled out the information it requested; Name, address, e-mail and phone number. I got an email within a few day or so, asking more questions. How long do I plan to advertise? Do you drive safe? I did not reply to the e-mail. So i get a text about a month later from the same person saying sorry for the delay your payment has been sent. I received a package with a check for $1,950 and instructions to text a number that i received the package. Then i received another e-mail with more instructions on how to cash the check, make a money order and then send it through UPS. The package is supposed to go to the person who will wrap my car with the Red Bull decal. The guy lives in a whole other state then where i live. I realized it was a scam once i received the package and opened it.
